Squash is Tim’s passion. He has been a professional squash coach for 12 years coaching all ranges of players from beginners up to nationally ranked juniors and loves being able to help people of all abilities achieve their goals on court.

Tim has previously been a coach of Canterbury Junior Development Squads and NZ Junior Talent Development Camps.

As a player Tim was an A grader and is a former Canterbury Men’s Team Representative.

Wayne Smith - Coach

Wayne started playing squash after playing football & cricket to a good level, he became addicted to the sport and qualified as a National Referee and Senior Coach.

He trained under then national coach, the great Dadir El Bakary, and his squash coaching experience has taken him through National Junior, Regional Squads and Canterbury Junior & Teams.

At club level he enjoys being involved with Juniors, Superchamp teams, Interclub, and individuals of all grades.

His favourite shot is the deep drop - when played well it is a winner, play it poorly and you can be in trouble.
