Hi Club Members,
​

It continues to be busy around the club with nearly 40 people playing the Thursday Autumn Pennant and tomorrow we have 48 entries for the Junior D and below Junior Series. Autumn Interclub is well underway and finishes up on July 3-4.  Boxed 4 continues to attract new entrants and connect members, with many people enjoying this alternative competition.

There is no interclub on Queens Birthday weekend but we do have a 14:3 quick fire competition on Monday 5th June. See iSquash for details.

​

Another special thanks goes to Phil Tough this month for repainting all of the courts. They were painted with Resene Squash Court Coating 2 pack waterborne epoxy and they certainly look a load better. Please ensure tape on your racquet head is white or clear to avoid the marks as seen in the photo below.

Special General Meeting

An agreement between Cashmere WMC and Christchurch SC has been reached and a Special General meeting to present the agreement to the Cashmere WMC members will be held at the Cashmere WMC on  Sunday 25th June 2017. We will have our Special General Meeting on the following Wednesday 5th July 2017. We will aim to have an information pack available for Christchurch SC members by Wednesday 14th June 2017.

Winter Interclub

We have another 6 weeks of Autumn Interclub with Entries opening for Winter Interclub on June 19th. Any enquiries to our club captains Matt Maher mfemaher@xtra.co.nz (Men’s), Sharee McNab shareemcnab@hotmail.com (Womens).

New Membership Structure

A new membership structure is now in place where players pay monthly, for more details click here.

The benefits of our new structure is that there is less admin for the club, consistent cash flow, month x month option for members and interclub fees are now incorporated in all memberships with the exception of our Corporate Membership.

Accommodation for Welsh squash players

We have 3 Welsh squash players returning with the Lions's Tour who were here last time who are looking for some accommodation for 9/10th June, if anyone can help out please let a committee member know.
