There’s nothing quite like playing for more than just yourself. The SuperChamps is the ultimate test of club pride, strategy, and stamina. Whether you’re a seasoned B-Grader or a rising star in F/J, this is your chance to lead your club to glory and secure a spot on the national stage.

Why You Need to Enter a Team

The Ultimate Road Trip: Winning the Canterbury Qualifiers isn’t just about bragging rights, it’s your ticket to the National Finals in September.
Club Camaraderie: This is the one event where the whole club gets behind you. The atmosphere at the Christchurch Club will be electric.
Grades for Everyone: From B Grade through to F/J, every level has a chance to be crowned the best in the country.

What are the SuperChamps?

The SuperChamps is a unique team format. Each squad consists of five players (plus one or two reserves) all within the same grade. You’ll battle it out against other Canterbury clubs to see who earns the right to represent our region at the National Finals.

2026 National Finals Locations (Sept 16–19):

B Grade - Hamilton Squash and Tennis (Waikato)
C Grade - Devoy Squash and Fitness (Bay of Plenty)
D Grade - Tawa Squash Club (Wellington)
E Grade - SquashCity Invercargill (Southland)
F/J Grade - Kerikei Squash Club (Northland)

Short on players?

Don’t let a small roster stop you. You can form a composite team with players from a neighboring club. Reach out to Daniel at info@squashcanterbury.co.nz to get the ball rolling.

Are You Eligible?

To ensure fair play and quality competition, all players must meet the following criteria:

Match Ready: Have played at least 3 competitive matches between January 1st and June 4th, 2026.
Qualified: Must have passed the Club Referee qualification.
Graded: Player grading will be taken from the June 5th list.

June 5th: Grading list lockdown (grades are as of this date).
June 22nd: Entries close for Canterbury Qualifiers.
July 23rd: Tournament starts at the Christchurch Squash Club.
